Press Release - For Immediate Publication

Kayleigh, a young double carer to her younger sister and mum from Bristol, had a dream to see the Foo Fighters play live. Her wish was granted by Given To Live who funded for her to see the Foos at the closing ceremony of last year's Invictus Games.

However that was just the beginning. On hearing Kayleigh’s story, with the help of Foo Fighters fans Given To Live were able to secure her a meet and greet with Dave Grohl and the band. Kayleigh met the band, watched their show from the stage and went backstage afterwards. The photos and full story are on Given to Live's website.

Given to Live fund concerts, transport, and accommodation for vulnerable, excluded, disadvantaged and disabled music fans. Despite having only been in existence since April 2014, they've already funded several successful trips including The Vaccines, Olly Murs and have Slipknot at Download set up. They are now setting their sights high for the future and are hoping to take fans abroad to catch a glimpse of their favourite bands.

To say thank you to both the Foo Fighters and their fans Given to Live is hosting two concerts at the Crystal Club, Wembley, on the weekend of the Foo Fighters' shows in June. The shows will start at 1pm and end as Wembley's gates open before resuming once the Foo Fighters have left the stage until 3am. These shows are fundraisers for Given To Live and donations at the door are encouraged.

The two shows will feature a range of live bands including Bridges, Monsters As Humans (appearing on June 19th), Autumn Ruin, and 20 Cent Dreams (appearing on June 20th). There will also be food and drinks deals for those who want to relax before the main event.

The Crystal Club is 20 yards from Wembley Stadium and has a capacity of over 1000. It is a five minute walk from Wembley railway station and 10/12 minutes from Wembley Park Tube station.
